Here’s a great way to celebrate the holidays with the most sophisticated version of the world-famous cocktail: the Cosmopolitan. An exquisite white cranberry-based cocktail, ideal for toasting on Christmas Day.
Ingredients:2.2 cl Cointreau L’Unique, 6 cl vodka, 2.2 cl lime juice and 0.7 cl white cranberry juice.
Steps
– Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and add ice.
– Shake until well chilled and strain the mixture into the glass.
– Garnish the glass with a cranberry.
THE MERRY MULE
Add a touch of joy and colour to your celebrations with this version of the Vodka Mule, perfect for sharing with family and friends.
Ingredients: 2 cl Cointreau L’Unique, 4.5 cl vodka, 1.5 cl lime juice, 1.5 cl sparkling water, 0.5 cl ginger juice and 0.5 cl sugar syrup.
Steps
– Mix all the ingredients except the sparkling water, and add ice.
– Shake until well chilled and strain the mixture into an old fashioned glass.
– Add the sparkling water and garnish the glass with a slice of lime.
HOLIDAY COSMOPOLITAN
If you’re a lover of the classic Cosmopolitan, add a touch of cinnamon to your favourite cocktail to surprise your guests.
Ingredients: 2.2 cl Cointreau L’Unique, 6 cl vodka, 3 cl lime juice, 1.5 cl blueberry syrup and cinnamon cloves. For the syrup: 1 cup of blueberries, 1 cup of water, 1 cup of sugar, 1 cinnamon stick and 5 cinnamon cloves.
Steps
– Start with the syrup: Bring all ingredients to a boil in a saucepan. Mix the rest of the ingredients in a shaker and add ice.
– Shake until well chilled and strain the mixture into the glass.
– Add the syrup to the glass and garnish the glass.
SHAKE YOU POM-POMEGRANATE
The colour red is the undisputed star of the Christmas festivities. For this reason, a cocktail as Christmassy as this one, could not be missing in our ranking of cocktails for the holidays.
Ingredients: 2.2 cl Cointreau L’Unique, 6 cl vodka, 2.2 cl lime juice and 1.5 cl pomegranate.
Steps
– Combine all ingredients in a shaker and add ice.
– Shake until well chilled and strain the mixture into the glass.
– Garnish the glass with a slice of lime.
HOLIDAY MARGARITA
The popular Margarita cocktail could not be missing from our Christmas recommendations: the perfect excuse to toast and celebrate this festive season.
Ingredients: 3 cl Cointreau L’Unique, 5 cl white tequila, 2 cl lime juice, 6 dashes of aromatic bitters, cinnamon sugar and 1 sprig of rosemary.
Steps
– Combine all ingredients except cinnamon sugar and rosemary sprig in a cocktail shaker and add ice.
– Shake until well chilled and strain the mixture into the glass.
– Garnish the rim of the glass with cinnamon sugar.
– Garnish the glass with a sprig of rosemary.
