Today we meet Javier Mariscal, designer and multidisciplinary artist, one of the most relevant figures in the creative panorama, both at a local and international level. Mariscal was awarded with the Premio Nacional de Diseño in 1999.

Is your place of creation, the studio, inspired by your city?
Yes, in Palo Alto the little birds sing, the bougainvilleas bloom. I feel very lucky, I ride my bike home from the studio watching the sea.
If Barcelona was an art work, what would you name it?
The Sea and the Mountain with Diagonal.
A place in the city that connects you with art?
The port seen from Montjuïc.
