“I am art. I am Barcelona. I am Swab ” is a series of interviews with relevant people of the Barcelona creative environment, whose aim is to enhance the cultural network of the city.
Today meet Cesc Casadesús, dancer, choreographer and cultural manager. He has directed the Grec Festival in Barcelona since 2016, an event dedicated to contemporary living arts that has become a world reference for performing disciplines.

For me, the word ‘creativity’ determines the Barcelona I like to imagine.
Is your place of creation, the studio, inspired by your city?
We work with the City. The Grec Festival programs from the spaces of the City, not only the Teatre Grec itself, but also the theaters, the museums and the streets.
If Barcelona was an art work, what would you name it?

A place in the city that connects you with art?
The axis Ciutat del Teatre and Paral·el in Montjuïc.
