Flore Saunois, Untitled (Precarious Voids) (2023). Silica, Seed Program.
Swab Barcelona presents Swab Seed, the program that shines a spotlight on alternative spaces breaking away from the traditional gallery concept. This section embraces formats like itinerant galleries and artist-run collectives. Beyond promoting diverse exhibition styles, Seed also fosters cultural exchange among exhibitors, creating a vibrant dialogue within the program itself.
By providing a platform for galleries operating outside conventional frameworks, Seed drives innovative approaches to exhibitions and interactions among artistic agents. Participants in the fair find an inclusive and dynamic environment, reflecting the true diversity of today’s contemporary art practices.

Takeover (Beirut): Opened in 2022 by artist İeva Saudargaitė Douaihi, Takeover is an artist-led project space with dynamic and experimental programming aimed at supporting local artists. Each “takeover” activates the space differently, transforming it from an artist’s studio to a gallery, from an installation to a workshop, from a screening room to an informal gathering place.
Tiny Art Gallery (Den Haag): A nomadic exhibition space, the gallery celebrates the richness of creativity on a compact scale, showcasing miniature works by a diverse range of national and international artists.
