Escombro, Emerging LATAM.
The artist and curator Santiago Gasquet once again leads Emerging LATAM, welcoming hybrid projects that promote the diverse and rich production of Latin American artists. In its fourth edition, the program establishes itself as a platform for exchange among six young spaces from cities like Buenos Aires, Lima, Santiago de Chile, Rosario, and Guadalajara. These spaces promote various management models in the region based on their specific territorial conditions. We can find formal galleries, artist-run spaces, home galleries, and nomadic projects exhibiting the work of sixteen “emerging” artists who, through multiple mediums, offer us a perspective on current issues within the territorial context.
