Vangar presents at Swab Barcelona 2024 the work of three young Valencian artists, Lara Ordóñez (Castellón, 1995), Claudia Pastomas (Valencia, 1998) and Adrián Jorques (Valencia, 1995). The three artists, representatives of the new generation of Valencian artists, work with abstract languages, each of them experimenting with different non-painting techniques. In the case of Lara Ordóñez, the artist recovers pigmentation techniques used in textile work. Claudia Pastomas works with wood incision and folding, rescuing obsolete craft techniques. Finally, Adrián Jorques transfers pictorial layers to the surface of the canvas using thermal transfers.
