SUAVEART, a research-based curatorial institution, focuses on environmental, nonhuman perspectives, and nonplace issues within island contexts, exploring the intersection of art, science and life. Since 2008, our focus has been on Southeast Asian regional contemporary art. Established in Taiwan in 2015, we facilitate experimental cultural implementations and interdisciplinary collaborations. Supported by industry links, art consultants, and communities, we engage in artistic research, art residency, curation, and transnational exchanges. Many of the projects address climate change challenges while emphasizing the role of art and individual agency in shaping our collective future.

The project will present the discarded industrial containers repurposed into plant pots, reflecting a culture of reuse. The style of these polydrum pots become refined and render them the same as authentic ceramic, and they become a dedicated home to the plants. This blend of industry and agriculture symbolizes adaptive community aesthetics.
