The booth proposes to be an exploration of the interplay between perception, physiological optics and the natural world through experimentation in form, matter, illusion and meaning making. Their works are united through their alternative approaches to using materials, harnessing light and shadow to create illusory images. Complex imagery is offset by alchemical uses of simple materials, and each artist is united by their earthy, organic palettes. The cumulative effect of both technique and imagery is a heightened perceptual awareness both of ourselves and the environment in which we exist.
