Restorative Pigments on Cold-Pressed Cotton Paper
56 x 76 cm
This series comprises hand-restored grayscale monochrome paintings, created using photo-restorative pigments and arranged in a grid to display an array of grayscale variations. Originally used for repairing minute details in traditional silver-halide photographs, these pigments require meticulous observation and skilled techniques for patching and repairing. The artworks magnify and reposition the typically minute and invisible craft of hand repair.
