For this edition of Swab, Comtemporary Cluster propose a solo show by Renato Calaj. Conceptual and minimal, Calaj’s work reflects on the transience of life and the ephemeral nature of human experience. Space, border, limit, and time are the key words for the development of this project. The result is a contemplation of the very material theme of time, which manifests disciplinary nuances relating to the fields of architecture, urban planning, construction, semiotics, and anthropology. It maintains a constant balance between the opposites of creation and destruction, brutality and fragility, action and stasis.
