RACCOON PROJECTS
Hospitalet de Llobregat
solo show
Raccoon projects is an exhibition space that opens its doors in July 2023 in Hospitalet de Llobregat. The space is directed by the curator Margot Cuevas and maintains a continuous programme throughout the year. The project is conceived as a curatorial platform of an exhibition nature through site-specific proposals of new production and based on research into the specific process of each invited artist through a sustained dialogue. The programme focuses on both national and international artists from different disciplines and media.

E2-WB/F/X-T takes its title from one of the drafts of Even light, a publication discarded in 2015 that gave rise to a line of work that, from a material approach to images, bears a certain relation to SXT, a line in which writing and musical production converge.
The E2 draft was designed as the first sketch for the exhibition at RACCOON in May 2024, based on the desire to work with the images that make it up and with other materials that have accompanied the process.
accompanied the process.
On this occasion, some of the images that make up this draft are reproduced by silkscreen printing and others, from the same image archive, have been meticulously traced in pencil, thus generating an amorphous temporal linearity that has more to do with the composition, materiality and body of the surface of each image, than with the place or the routes that the archive can establish as a whole.
