ArtSuper Collection

ArtSuper’s acquisitions choose to emphasize the diversity and possible dialogue of contemporary practice between different cultures.
Their collection wants to reveal how some artists cleverly deal with the narrative of the major and minor aspects of everyday life, guiding us with their experimentation.

Manuel Exposito Collection – Visualsign

VisualSign Collection is an eclectic tour of artists from the 1950s to the present day. The evolution of the collection began in 1995 with the purchase of a first multiple piece, since then it has been completed with the artistic currents of those years to contemporary art today, through works of art pop, street art, hyperrealism and conceptual with critical character. They are currently betting on young national artists, whose work moves us and transmits sensations to us; with this they are trying to support, as far as possible, the current artistic panorama.

The Bassat Collection is one of the most representative collections of what has been the Catalan art of the second half of the twentieth century. The intention of the Collection is to contribute, through the exhibition of its funds, to the explanation of the events and movements that have led to the art of our time. It has more than 3,000 original works, of which some 2,500 are paintings and drawings and 500 are sculptures, and is complemented by a large collection of graphic works.
In this edition of Swab Barcelona The Carmen and Luis Bassat Foundation acquired a total of 6 works from 3 galleries: three drawings by the artist Victoria Liguori from the ESAA Unquillo Gallery, two drawings by Eva Miquel from the Palmadotze Gallery and a photograph by Xavi Bou from Lab 36.

José Luis Lorenzo Collection

The José Luis Lorenzo Collection is one of the most complete collections of contemporary art in Argentina, with the singularity of being in permanent dialogue with antiques, design objects, and handcrafted productions that are also part of the collection. With the intention of promoting local and national artistic productions, the collection began to grow in the 1990s. All techniques and disciplines are represented, although a certain predilection for photographic productions can be recognized.
