Solo Swab: Direlia Lazo and Zaida Trallero curate Solo Swab. The section consist of individual presentations by  artists from Latin American. In its third edition, Solo Swab consolidates itself as a space that reflects upon the artistic practice in the region in dialogue with the social and political context.

Under the supervision of Frederic Montornés and Imma Prieto, this section comprises a selection of artists representative of nine different galleries throughout Barcelona. The artists were grouped together to establish a unified nexus within the city's current artistic program, providing multiple perspectives and insights into some of Barcelona's most interesting creators. This section asks, "What does being in or out mean?" and empowers a debate through a diverse group of artists and artworks.

CROSS-BOUNDARIES: Moving Images from China

Program curated by Susana Sanz, It counts with the selection of three chinese filmakers comming from the recent film emerging wave of the country.  Liu Hao, Ju Anqi and Yu Depeng will travel to Barcelona for producing a piece in the city in which they will meditate about the borders drawed among the author cinema and video art. The transgression of those confines makes them be "Cross-Boundaries artist".

Swab Performance presents its second edition consolidating the program at the fair and proposing a dialog based on new independent formats.

On this edition, curated by Carolina Diez-Cascon, 4 invited artists will discuss about the fundamental questions of the contemporary social context, as the concerns about the consequences of imposed boundaries, the limits and the role of the art and culture and the recuperation of the human values, while playing with spacial and physical resources taking the art expression to its most direct impact with the public.
